3 in 1

Owing to the fact that I have been crazy busy packing and what not for the past week, I believe a comprehensive post detailing all that has transpired is in order. We'll just go in order.

Número 1: Karmaloop

So, on Tuesday I modeled at Karmaloop for the first time, which is another place I have been wanting to work at. I went in for a casting near the end of April, but my schedule was too busy to do anything until now, which is rather unfortunate because now I am home and can't work there again until I go back.

Número 2: Flock Boston

I can't even explain just how much I love everything about Flock. Everyone is so freaking awesome, I love it! This was my last shoot for them for a while :( but hopefully when I head back in the fall I can do more!

Número 3: Jeff Roberts test shoot

I have gotten a couple of images back from my test shoot with Jeff, and I love them! They are definitely unlike anything I currently have in my port, so hopefully Annette will be able to use them.

Study time

Sitting in Widener, half-falling asleep while re-watching The Thin Blue Line, I obviously need a distraction soooo I am going to write a short post about my photoshoot yesterday. My Saturday ended at 3 a.m. Sunday morning, and my Sunday began just 2 and a half hours later. I grabbed my scattered belongings for the shoot and hopped on the subway to Oak Grove. I am usually late for everything, so when it comes to modeling jobs I make an effort to be early, and early I was. I arrived at Oak Grove at 7:00 a.m., and my ride to the shoot, Alexandra was supposed to pick me up at 8:00 a.m. So, that period involved a lot of waiting around, hiding from the sun, and attempts at falling asleep on the cold concrete bench at the station. At 8:00 a.m., Alexandra, the make-up artist, arrived and we set out for Buxton, Maine, a 2 hour drive outside of the city. Once we got there, we unloaded everything and began to choose the looks for the shoot. The shoot was more about different expressions, so I really pushed outside of my "straight-face/smile" comfort zone and but more emotion into the expressions. I actually yelled for a few of the poses, so I am uber excited to see how they turn out!

Reflection time

Now that this school year is coming to a close, I'd like to take a little walk down memory lane with two of the most amazing people that I met this year: my roommates Morgan and Sam. Before we all arrived, I had no idea how the room dynamics would work out and I was a little worried about how we would all interact. Right off the bat, Sam became our room leader because she gets shit done, is extremely outgoing and pretty much perfect at everything. Win. Morgan and I, being our shy selves, just trailed along, hiding behind her for as long as we could. Eventually, and I don't know how it happened, we all began to unravel and things got weird. And thats when we all became friends. They are the BEST roommates and friends a girl could ask for. Seriously. I could not be happier to be rooming with Sam next year and we are going to miss our third piece soooo much! I love you guys and I'm going to miss you all so much this summer. I hope you both have the most amazing vacation and thank you both for being the best :) I love you guys <3

Shot with Flock Boston again today! It was so much fun. I love their set-up, the people and of course the amazing clothing and accessories. I cannot wait for them to launch their site so I can order oodles and oodles of amazing summer clothing!!!!
