Improper Bostonian Release

I was not expecting the tears for the Improper Bostonian shoot I did at the end of March to come out until the first week of May; however, I was delightfully surprised when I sauntered past the newsstand that carries the local magazine and caught a quick glimpse of the newly stocked Improper issue. I remember flipping through the last edition about a week ago, so when I noticed the new cover, I was hoping it would be the right issue. It turned out to be just that.

Now, whenever I get to see new work that I have done, it throws my focus completely off, so I am currently still struggling with my LS1b take-home test and preparation for a presentation that should have been done hours ago. I can't help it though. I am just so self-critical, so I can't help but analyze every ounce of the picture.

This image was shot on the morning of March 28, and, while late March marks rising temperatures in most places, the bitter cold was still in the air in Boston. That being said, I thought I was going to get hypothermia out there ("there" being the middle of no where). We were shaking and huddling for warmth between shots, but we got through it with no complaints. The graffiti artist was amazing. I am still awed by how much detail he was able to put in the zebra and face (seen to the far left--somewhat out of the shot) with just a spray can. Truly an artist!

Hopefully my agent, Annette, will be able to use the tear to send to agencies for traveling this summer. I would love to go to Chicago or New York, or even LA again, but we will have to see! Fingers crossed!
